TourWest Applications: TourWest 2012-2013 grant program application period will open on January 23, 2012. The application deadline is April 2, 2012.
TourWest Application Deadline: April 2, 2012
TourWest is a competitive grant program that provides subsidies to arts and community organizations for the presentation of out-of-state touring performers and literary artists.
All TourWest grants must be matched on a one-to-one basis in cash by the presenting organization. Funds are available to organizations that sponsor performances or literary events within the 13-state WESTAF region. In order to receive funding from this program, applicants should demonstrate their commitment to several key elements: a) high artistic quality; b) collaboration and block booking; c) the presentation of diverse art forms; and d) audience development.
TourWest is a program of WESTAF (the Western States Arts Federation) and is supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
Please note that each application can be used for only ONE project. If you wish to apply for funding for two projects, you must complete and submit two separate applications. You are required to submit two 1-minute work samples, which must be submitted online as a digital file. Please review "Uploading Your Work Samples" and "Manage Work Samples" for formatting requirements. Funding for the 2012-2013 cycle is available for projects that take place between September 1, 2012 and August 30, 2013.

After you have successfully logged in to the site, click on "Current Programs and Applications" to access the TourWest grant application.
Please note: Applicants should create only one profile in the system; do not create a separate username and password for each year's application. In order to maintain all of your grant applications in one place, please use the same login information for each TourWest grant round. Your profile will provide you with access to all of the TourWest grant applications for this year, previous years, and in the future. After you have logged in, you can access the applications by clicking on the "Current Programs and Applications" button.

TourWest Final Reports:
Final Reports are due within 60 days of your project completion date. Final reports must be submitted online. To access your final report, please log in and then click on "Current Programs and Applications". You will see a list of your TourWest applications and Final Reports. Find the applicable cycle and click on the "Edit Final Report" link to complete your Final Report online.
